Group schemes
Savings circles, group lending and asset schemes are usually tracked in a notebook or somebody's memory. That works until it doesn't.
A group contributes a fixed amount each cycle, and one member receives the pool that cycle.
A loan arranged within a group: the amount, the terms the group agreed, and the repayments made against it.
Members contribute towards an asset, and each cycle one member receives it.
KeptPact is record-keeping software. Your group decides whether to run a scheme, who takes part, what the terms are, and how money changes hands. All of that happens between the members, exactly as it does today.
We do not operate, organise, promote, match members for, or stand behind any scheme. We do not collect, hold, pool, disburse or guarantee any money or asset, and we do not lend or set interest rates. There is no pot of money anywhere in this product.
What the platform provides is an accurate, shared, permanent record of what the group agreed and what has actually been paid, so that a twelve-month arrangement doesn't come down to whose memory is better.
Groups are private and invite-only. You are responsible for ensuring any arrangement you run is lawful where you live.
